Badger

Amazing craftsmanship. The handle is a little thin for heavy work, but it’s great for medium duty tasks, detail work, and EDC. The sheath is of equally high caliber, though I would like a horizontal mounting option for carry at the 5-6 o’clock position on my belt. For EDC I would also like a pocket sheath option. That being said it showed up shaving sharp, the groves on the spine are great for indexing your grip during when fine control is needed. The blade geometry makes it equally good a general use cutting or as a hunting / skinning knife. While I haven’t had this blade long if it holds up like my other Elmax blades it’s a winner for sure. Customer service was top notch as well. This is my first Schenk blade, it won’t be my last.
