Great knife

This knife is really well made with great steel. I gutted, skined, and buttered a doe deer with this knife and it was almost as sharp afterwards as when I started.

Very capable, compact, well built blade

This knife offers great utility in a compact package. Rugged & simple design, stout blade profile, and quality materials make this one of my favorite fixed blades. Fit & finish of the handle scales to the tang is seamless & smooth, making it a pleasure to handle over extended time periods. Functional spine jimping & lanyard hole are both helpful. The grind on my elmax bladed trailhead makes the blade able to withstand hard use, but still allows for some pretty good detail cuts. I've only been using this knife for about a month now, but it gets called on to work at least 5 days a week. It works exactly as I had hoped, takes & holds an edge very well (for a 'stainless' steel), and hasn't showed any signs of corrosion yet. I'll update after several more months of use, but as of now, I dig it
