Crafted from high-performance 5160 tool steel, this axe is forged and finished in-house at our Idaho Falls factory, ensuring unmatched durability and cutting power. The solid hickory handle features a tapered design for a secure grip and optimal control, whether you’re slicing, chopping, or tackling rugged outdoor tasks.

It comes with a premium brown leather blade cover, made from Wickett & Craig leather—sourced from the oldest tannery in the USA. Each axe is meticulously finished by our team of skilled artisans, combining heritage craftsmanship with modern performance. *Just like all things, proper care should be given to the knife blade. We recommend cleaning with warm water and completely drying after use. We recommend applying WD40 to the blade immediately after drying to help deter spotting/rusting. We strongly encourage applying WD40 or a similar type oil to the axe frequently to help preserve the damascus as well as to help resist any rusting. 

*The hickory handle is tapered to allow a nice fit at the top of the handle as well as making it easy to change handles.
