About this Grand Teton Integral Bolster Custom:
This custom "Grand Teton" knife feathers a integral bolster design. The integral bolster blade is forged from a solid piece of damascus steel and than shaped, hand ground and heat-treated. The handle features box elder burl and red G10 spacers with an elk horn. The damascus steel is forged using 15M20 and 1080 high carbon tool steel. We forge all of our own damascus in house here in Idaho. The leather sheath is made from 8 oz, russet saddle skirting, that comes from Wickett & Craig USA. The sheath has a hand-tooled edge stamp pattern that wraps around the entire sheath. The sheath has been hand wet-formed to provide a nice tight fit for this one of a kind knife.

*Just like all things, proper care should be given to the knife blade. We recommend cleaning with warm water and completely drying after use. We recommend applying WD40 or some type of gun oil to the blade immediately after drying to help deter spotting/rusting. Always clean and oil your knife before extended storage. Never store your knife in the leather sheath for extended time periods. The high-carbon nature of this damascus steel is prone to rusting and discoloration if not properly cared for.
