The Teton Skinner Custom:
This ones for the trailing point fanatics. The ultra bold, low layer twist high-carbon damascus blade is made of powdered 1080 and 15N20 which is forged here in our factory in Idaho. The Vanta etch on this blade makes for a striking contrast from the blade to giraffe bone handle. No two pieces of damascus are ever the same, making each knife like a finger print. The giraffe bone handle paired with the nickel silver bolster with red G10 make this knife an heirloom quality piece. Each knife is hand forged, ground and made by our team of skilled artisans.
The leather sheath is made from 8 oz, saddle skirting that has been brown and blue dyed tri-stamp sheath. The leather we used comes from one of the oldest tanneries in the USA, Wickett & Craig. The sheath has been hand wet-formed to provide a nice tight fit for this one of a kind knife.

***Just like all things, proper care should be given to the knife blade. We recommend cleaning with warm water and completely drying after use. We recommend applying WD40 or some type of gun oil to the blade immediately after drying to help deter spotting/rusting. Always clean and oil your knife before extended storage. Never store your knife in the leather sheath for extended time periods. The high-carbon nature of this damascus steel is prone to rusting and discoloration if not properly cared for.
