The Bone Hunter:
The integral bolster design, ultra dark etch and black ash burl handle make this a knockout knife. The integral bolster puts the weight of the knife directly over your index finger making the knife feel right at home during heavy use. The handle has been glued together with commercial grade epoxy and fastened. The red and black spacers make for a nice transition between the damascus blade and wood handle.
The ultra dark spider twist blade is a Schenk Knives exclusive pattern. The high-carbon damascus which is made up of 1080 and 15N20 is forged here in our factory in Idaho. No two pieces of damascus are ever the same, making each knife like a fingerprint.
The leather sheath is made from 8 oz, russet saddle skirting. The leather we use is sourced from, Wickett & Craig USA, one of the oldest tanneries in the USA. The sheath has a hand-tooled stamping pattern the covers most of the sheath. This particular sheath is a "cross-draw" design. The sheath has been hand wet-formed to provide a nice tight fit for this one of a kind knife. Each knife is hand forged, ground and made by our team of skilled artisans.

*Just like all things, proper care should be given to the knife blade. We recommend cleaning with warm water and completely drying after use. We recommend applying WD40 or some type of gun oil to the blade immediately after drying to help deter spotting/rusting. Always clean and oil your knife before extended storage. Never store your knife in the leather sheath for extended time periods. The high-carbon nature of this damascus steel is prone to rusting and discoloration if not properly cared for.
*Logo and other markings will be placed on the blade after purchase is made.
