The Coastline Hunter:
Spring has yet to happen here in Idaho so we built a knife to give us hope of warmer days to come! The hybrid hex resin handle was created by our skilled artisans. This particular handle is a sea green and blue resin with aluminum hex. The handle has been glued together with commercial grade epoxy and fastened using carbon fiber pins.
The spider twist blade is a Schenk Knives exclusive pattern. The high-carbon damascus which is made up of 1080 and 15N20 is forged here in our factory in Idaho. No two pieces of damascus are ever the same, making each knife like a fingerprint.
The leather sheath is made from 8 oz, russet saddle skirting. We used a blue thread to accent the handle. The leather we use is sourced from, Wickett & Craig USA, one of the oldest tanneries in the USA. The sheath has a hand-tooled stamping pattern the covers most of the sheath. This particular sheath is a "cross-draw" design. The sheath has been hand wet-formed to provide a nice tight fit for this one of a kind knife. Each knife is hand forged, ground and made by our team of skilled artisans.

*Just like all things, proper care should be given to the knife blade. We recommend cleaning with warm water and completely drying after use. We recommend applying WD40 or some type of gun oil to the blade immediately after drying to help deter spotting/rusting. Always clean and oil your knife before extended storage. Never store your knife in the leather sheath for extended time periods. The high-carbon nature of this damascus steel is prone to rusting and discoloration if not properly cared for.
*Logo and other markings will be placed on the blade after purchase is made.
