A black G10 liner provides a subtle contrast, complemented by a nickel silver bolster and star mosaic pins—details that elevate its design. The handle is secured with commercial-grade epoxy, ensuring a lifetime of durability and cherished memories.

The high-carbon Damascus steel blade is a masterpiece in itself. Forged in our Idaho factory from 1080 and 15N20 steel, it features a topographic Damascus pattern—each piece uniquely etched by fire and hammer, making every knife a one-of-a-kind treasure.

To complete this heirloom-quality piece, the Mesa Hunter comes with a handcrafted leather sheath, made from 8 oz. saddle skirting leather sourced from Wickett & Craig, one of America’s oldest tanneries. Dyed a warm, light brown to complement the handle, the sheath features a hand-tooled stamp edge pattern and is wet-formed for a secure fit.

*Just like all things, proper care should be given to the knife blade. We recommend cleaning with warm water and completely drying after use. We recommend applying WD40 or some type of gun oil to the blade immediately after drying to help deter spotting/rusting. Always clean and oil your knife before extended storage. Never store your knife in the leather sheath for extended time periods. The high-carbon nature of this damascus steel is prone to rusting and discoloration if not properly cared for.
