The Midwest Hunter Custom:
Here's a semi-custom knife from our factory. The AEB-L stainless steel paired with the black micarta and green mango makes this a great tool for the mountains. A perfect size for your next whitetail hunt or day on the ranch.
Description:
AEB-L was originally developed for razor blades. A few companies have copied the chemical composition of AEB-L. This alloy is formulated with enough carbon for the steel to get very hard but not make any chromium carbides. The extreme fine grain makes them easy to sharpen, have good edge holding, excellent edge stability and toughness.
The stunning green dyed, belt loop sheath pairs perfectly wtih the mango handle. The leather sheath is made from 8 oz, saddle skirting that has been dyed and hand tooled by our leather artisans. The leather we used comes from one of the oldest tanneries in the USA, Wickett & Craig. The sheath has a hand-tooled stamp pattern along the edge of the sheath. The sheath has been hand wet-formed to provide a nice tight fit for this one of a kind knife. Each knife is hand forged, ground and made by our team of skilled artisans.

*Just like all things, proper care should be given to the knife blade. We recommend cleaning with warm water and completely drying after use. We recommend applying WD40 or some type of gun oil to the blade immediately after drying to help deter spotting/rusting. Always clean and oil your knife before extended storage. Never store your knife in the leather sheath for extended time periods. The high-carbon nature of this damascus steel is prone to rusting and discoloration if not properly cared for.
*Logo and other markings will be placed on the blade after purchase is made.
