Custom Nampa Knife:

The custom Nampa hunting knife is sure to be an workhorse on any hunting trip and heirloom for generations to come. The beautiful handle is constructed of a variety of materials that gives this particular knife a very classic style and feel. The guard is made from carbon fiber which creates a beautiful accent between the blade and the handle. The handle is made from blue and orange G10 and natural canvas micarta with a stunning piece of redwood burl on the exterior. We used another piece of carbon fiber for the butt-cap to help reduce the overall weight of the knife. The hidden tang construction makes the knife feel extremely light and agile in the hand. 

The ribbon twist, high-carbon damascus steel, was forged and finished by our skilled team. The high-carbon steel blade will allow for easy resharpening and great edge retention. This high quality damascus steel blade will keep your cuts clean and crisp. Each damascus blade is made of 1080 and 15N20. Every knife is backed by the Schenk Knives "Razorlife Warranty" bringing you peace of mind and confidence in the product.

The leather sheath has been hand stamped using our gothic arrowhead stamp. The sheath is made from 8 oz. brown-dyed bridle leather that comes from one of the oldest tanneries in America, Wickett & Craig, USA. The sheath is accented with blue thread which brings the knife and sheath into perfect balance. Each knife and sheath we make is flawlessly hand-crafted by the artisans at Schenk Knives in Idaho Falls, ID.

*Just like all things, proper care should be given to the knife blade. We recommend cleaning with warm water and completely drying after use. We recommend applying WD40 or a similar gun oil to the blade immediately after drying to help preserve the blade. Always clean and oil your knife before extended storage. Never store your knife in the leather sheath for extended time periods.
