The Green River:

This knife is stunning! The green dyed mango wood is absolutely stunning and the pictures don't do it justice! The matching green dyed and hand tooled sheath make this a perfect combination for a heirloom quality knife! The high-carbon damascus, which is made up of 1080 and 15N20, is forged here in our factory in Idaho Falls, ID. No two pieces of damascus are ever the same, making each knife as unique as your finger print. The mango burl that was used was processes stabilized and dyed in our shop to ensure the highest quality of wood possible. The handle has been glued together with commercial grade epoxy and fastened using brass pins.

The leather sheath is made from 8 oz, saddle skirting that has been dyed a beautiful green to create a beautiful and unique look for the sheath. The leather we use comes from one of the oldest tanneries in the USA, Wickett & Craig. The sheath has a hand-tooled basket stamp pattern. The sheath has been hand wet-formed to provide a nice tight fit for this one of a kind knife. Each knife is hand forged, ground and made by our team of skilled artisans.

*Just like all things, proper care should be given to the knife blade. We recommend cleaning with warm water and completely drying after use. We recommend applying WD40 or some type of gun oil to the blade immediately after drying to help deter spotting/rusting. Always clean and oil your knife before extended storage. Never store your knife in the leather sheath for extended time periods. The high-carbon nature of this damascus steel is prone to rusting and discoloration if not properly cared for.

*Logo and other markings will be placed on the blade after purchase is made.
